Headed To The North The engine growls underneath my feet in time with the road and every beat, of my heart takes a seat. Riding along those gravel roads, the dust rising high and everyone knows, I’m sure that it shows. I’ll ride through the night and into the day until that time that I find you, Heard everyone say, you’ve enjoyed your stay, so far away, and I just want to, Let you be, but that’s not like me, to leave you alone and let you cry, know that I try, no I don’t lie, no I don’t lie. Rock bottom bottom badaba, Rock bottom bottom badaba, Rock bottom bottom, I am headed to the North. So I’m running everlong like a pack of wild dogs to the sun, the bright-shining sun, Keepin my eyes down on the road through the patches of ice and falling snow. I know that she’s there I feel her stare through the radiant glare of the snowblind, I’m watching her move so graceful and smooth inside of the booth and she feels fine, She takes me away, turns night into day, says come out and play, lets out a sigh, She knows that I try, she knows I don’t lie, no I don’t lie.

Tidal Waves 03:46
Tidal Waves Tidal wave connected thoughts align me with the moon, Watch out of the water for reflections of the dunes, See your face in lower light and let it fade away, As the ripples in the water mislead and decay. What unseen exodus… Waits now in lower land? Thoughts across the ocean are never crystal clear, You were never in my hands but I’ve always been here, How demanding to break apart the answer through static and delay, You simply have to listen close there is no other way! No more is the Atlantic the giant it used to be, Back when prophets wandered through the mountains of Galilee. But modern communication is so easily misread, As messages from another realm, as contact with the dead!

You Are Not Alone Do you remember the first time that you saw the morning light, Breaking through the evergreens blinding but a welcomed sight After days out in the void, the seemingly eternal night, Through the smokey rocks we rose into a world so new and bright. Do do do do do do do do, You are not alone, Do do do do do do do do, The stars they are your home, And far away it is, I want you to know… That you are not alone. Sometimes when the moon hangs low I like to stare into the sky, And dream about the world that was back before our lonesome flight, I do not expect you to know, You dont accept the compramize, But even through all the noise, you and I are still alive.

Red Bird 04:06
Red Bird You’re fluttering from rooftops waiting on the world down below to come up to you. But the houses they are sinking, now the world is starting back anew. You know that its just smoke and mirrors that makes the water look clean and good. There is blood down in those rivers, hidden by the shadows in the woods. Our guns can’t outwait them, So the red bird flies. Our souls cannot save them, So the red bird flies. Through the wind and the waves, The bird flies on, his love holds on. Through the countless days, The bird flies on, and he holds on. You’re lookin through the papers, but they dont tell ya anything new. You’re looking for some information to help you figure out what to do. You know that your reading doesn’t help with a single thing, You closed your eyes to the outside world cause you dont know what it brings.

Prairie 03:17
Prairie Take me down to the grassy plains where I’ll, Learn to forget my name and I’ll, Run barefoot on the grass and I’ll, Never know how long I’ll last because, The wind will whisk me away in a, Tornado some fine day with the, Sun shining in the dirt, And I can’t help. I don’t know, I couldn’t ask for more, If there was anymore ’round here. Oh honey I can’t tell, But hell we might as well, See what this place has in store. Fingers crossed in my right hand that I, May cross this dusty land as I, Look for a little house, A settle prarie house and I’ll, Talk to my plain ole wife and I’ll, Tell her ’bout my boring life. We’ll, Sit together on the couch and, wonder what to talk about.

about

Clean Break Athens, Georgia

Clean Break officially began in Thomson, GA, when four friends were challenged to a "Battle of the Bands" competition. After sweeping Thomson, GA off of their feet and winning the talent show, they continued practicing and playing music together, progressing from small open mic nights to legendary venues such as the 40 Watt. ... more
